I needed that reminder again today! What is it about silence "amid the noise and haste" that we so hunger for but also avoid? In my oblate group we are studying the spiritually of John Cassian, and the search for silence has been our ongoing homework assignment. Turning off the outside sounds, focusing on God, learning to both listen to and turn away from our inner voice. Thanks, Erica! I needed that reminder again today!
